Our Story

Elevate is about constantly striving for good changes, from small improvements to big achievements. We believe that, following this concept, we can do something to care more for ourselves, for others, and for the Planet. 

It is with this in mind that both Elevate and Hirayama made the conscious and strategic decision to introduce the true ethos of Kaizen to the Middle East. This is not just about training. Rather, it is all about changing a mindset to embrace continuous success through nurturing improvement in the oneself and the company to create efficiency through removing waste in its processes.

An experienced degree qualified senior leader having worked for international tier one design, consulting, project management & contracting companies with over 29 years of international experience. Key experience working on strategic planning, business administration, mixed use development, high rise, design & build, large civil infrastructure, environmental, master planning, commercial, & real estate engineering projects throughout the Middle East. Overseen and delivered projects valuing from SAR 5 million – SAR 3.6 billion. Believes that ensuring client satisfaction is the key ingredient for a medium to long-term sustainable business and that the work is not only done by winning but measured through delivering quality and subsequently resulting in long term client trust.

Ahmed Fahmy

Ahmed holds an MBA in International Management and Leadership from the Swiss School of Management and in Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from the Institute of Managerial Accounting (IMA) in the USA. His work scope includes testing internal control and governance systems, evaluating financial health, reviewing reporting systems, and assessing budgets to optimize resource utilization.

Currently, serving as a financial advisor to diverse industrial and trading companies, providing valuable insights.

​Has a strong track record in finance, specializing in designing and implementing enterprise resource planning programs like Odoo, SAP, and Microsoft Dynamics, along with training financial teams. He has also advised the institutions sector at the Ministry of Interior (AMAN), leading governance and control systems development. Digital transformation in finance is a key area of expertise, along with financial and feasibility studies, credit file preparation for financial institutions, and budget and financial planning for various companies.

Ahmed has held the position of Group Financial Manager at Alex Apparels Company, specializing in ready-made garments, and earlier, served as the Financial Manager at Food Craft Company for Food Industries. He also held key positions such as Accounting Manager for Louis Dreyfus International in the Middle East and Africa region, and as the Head of Managerial Accounting Department at Evyab Egypt Company for Cosmetic Industries.

Introduced Toyota Production System at the Quality Control Division in Ricoh after training for five years in Motomachi Plant of Toyota Motor Co.

At Ricoh, he launched a Ricoh Production System based on the Toyota Production System. After that, he instructed other industries, such as food and confectionery industry and medical industry etc., on the Toyota Production System.

Shigeyuki Obara

At Ricoh, he implemented improvement education for managers and general employees as a promotion leader of the productivity improvement project. He diagnosed each workplace, found problems, and implemented improvement activities at shop floor (achieved significant results, such as improving productivity, reducing lead time, and reducing inventory). After that, he was transferred to a consulting section for external companies, and conducted shop floor diagnosis and consulting for various industries.
